Prescription creams..? URGENT?
Okay so i went to my dermatologist this morning and he gave me a prescription for Differin and Clindoxyl gel. I don%26#039;t have bad acne at all. i mean the few odd pimples. thats it. So my question is. I really really don%26#039;t want to use the differin because of the %26quot;it will get worse before it gets better%26quot; because when i get 1or more pimples on my face i cant live my life. Ive already been off for 2 weeks this school year because of pimples.. So i don%26#039;t want to use the differin and just the other clindoxyl.. is this okay?|||Of all the things that could be wrong with a person to prevent them from going to school you are taking time out from your education for pimples?!! If you do not want to take the doctors advise then why did you waste his time and your parents money going in the first place? If you where my child even if I had to put the cream on you myself you would use it.
Is there a doctor..can i cleanse tone and moisturize or cleanse moisturize..while on prescriptions like cream?

I dermatologist gave me the prescription but i don%26#039;t know which place I should go to Walmart or Walgreens to get it at a lower price because most dermatolgy things are usually expensive.|||clinique

Prescription creams for acne?
has anyone ever use clindamycin phosphate gel 1% for acne. my dermatologist prescripted me this and i was just wondering if anyone has used it before and what you think of it|||hmm...i havent heard of that one but next time you go and if that medicine you have already doesnt work for you, ask your dermatologist for Duac Topical Gel because it really works for me. email me if u have any questions about it. Oh, and let me tell you, zinc naturally helps clear up acne. If you are not taking vitamins with zinc in them, may I suggest that you start. I had moderate acne as a teenager and somehow found out (after all my acne med trial and errors) that zinc was good for acne. I tried it, and to this day, it works. I just eat a vitamin every day, and my skin remains clear, without me having to resort to prescription meds anymore. It%26#039;s way less costly, I%26#039;ll tell ya that. Can you buy EMLA cream online or over the counter at a pharmacy? or is it a prescription item?
I want to have this handy just in case the hospital refuses to give me lidocaine before inserting that excrutiatingly painful IV needle/tube.
Pasco County Hospital in Dade City FL does this automatically, they really CARE about patient comfort...Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater FL, likes to see their patients in pain so they can save a buck and treat them like crap.|||EMLA is an over the counter product in some countries like Canada, Australia, and I believe Britain. In the U.S. however, it is not. Have you considered trying lidocaine or something similar OTC. Perhaps you could have your regular doctor get your a script or tell the people at the hospital you refuse to get the test unless they get orders from the physician on staff to numb it properly. You have a right to request this you know. Peace
