Aqueous cream?...i'm confused...?

Ok, for those who answered earlier (thank you all) you%26#039;ll know i was going to see the doc for an infection %26#039;down there%26#039;.


well i went to see her, and she thinks i have BV from my symptoms, so she didn%26#039;t need to look which i was SO relieved about. so she gave me a prescription for some antibiotics. however, she added onto the prescription for some Aqueous Cream. she didn%26#039;t say what for - i didn%26#039;t know what it was so i assumed it was for the BV, but now i%26#039;m confused cause it says on the tub, and from a brief search online, that it is for treatment of the skin, to stop it drying out and such. that doesn%26#039;t sound to me like it%26#039;s for %26#039;down below%26#039;. she has given me medication before for acne, and my skin still isn%26#039;t great, but i am not currently on any. could she have prescribed the cream for my face? or is there another use that i don%26#039;t know about?





thanks in advance|||Soaps tend to irritate the area and make infection worse, so the cream might be prescribed for general cleansing purposes.|||It depends on exactly what this %26#039;aqueous cream%26#039; is. That describes its consistency and base, but it doesn%26#039;t tell us what the active ingredient might be.





If you%26#039;re not figuring it out, simply call the pharmacy where you picked it up and they should be able to tell you.





You could also call the doctor who wrote the prescription if you prefer.|||My doctor prescribes me aqueous cream for dry skin relief but thats on my legs. Im not sure why you would have it for down there its not something i would even consider! I think your best bet is to call the DRs surgery and ask for the Dr who prescibed it to give you a call back after surgery has finished so that he/she can tell you. x|||It is a fantastic moisturising cream.|||im a bit confused because as u said u use aqueous cream for dry skin, but there may be another use for it. so i would contact ur doctor and check.|||For a start what is BV ???


Please explain further so i can help...|||It is for you to wash(your vulva) with instead of soap.
