what are the other non-prescription genital wart creams i can buy from the drugstore??|||there is nothing you can buy that is over the counter. they are all prescription.... and only one can be used at home.... the others are for in-office use only (by your doctor). it is VERY hard to get rid of them once they spread to far... so PLEASE go see the doctor. As for home remedies or non-prescription drugs, there really are none. The more you wait, the more they spread and can become VERY painful (I had to call off work, they were so painful).
Aldara cream is very useful, but very powerful. You are only suppose to use it 3 days a week because you can get 2nd and 3rd degree burns from it. Unfortunately the only way to get Aldara is by going to the doctor and getting a prescription. Your regular family doctor can help. Hope this helps.
