Psoriasis. What is the best cream out there for it? How do I get rid of it?
It depends on whether or not you%26#039;re willing to try or your condition responds to over-the-counter medications. Generally, products containing salicylic acid or coal tar are good for treating it. Hydrocortisone cream can also help with the itchiness and redness. Keeping the skin moisturized with a fragrance and alcohol-free moisturizer is helpful as well. If after using these products for 3-4 weeks your condition doesn%26#039;t improve or worsens, then you need to see a dermatologist. They can prescribe stronger treatment options (steroids, phototherapy, etc.) that will help. Psoriasis is often times a chronic condition however, so it%26#039;s not something that a person will be rid of completely a majority of the time. Hope that helps!|||Check out www.womenshelp.net. On the home page there are some really good links for psoriasis. I have heard and seen it work wonders. Good luck I know how hard it is dealing with psoriasis but there are alot of things that can help.|||There is no cure for Psoriasis, but there are new biologics that a dermatologist can prescribe that has shown very promising results.|||Use emu oil, or just put about 5 drops in the tub and soak for 20 min|||i would say your best thing is to go to the dermatologist. Usually tanning beds help reduce the effects of psoriasis. Keep it moisturized. Exposure to the sun is also good if you have it on your arms, face or legs. Sea salt is supposed to work. Some topical creams work very well too, if it is a severe case you may need the shots. Which you usually take about 1 every 1-2 weeks. Which help it TREMENDOUSLY!! But, dont let it get you down it can make you VERY self concious and wanting to hide.
